When you lose a child, many things go through your mind.  Why Kristen? Why now? But if we prevent one more Kristen experience with a simple vaccination, then we have done our jobs.  This is Kristen’s legacy.

KRISTEN’S STORY

Meet the amazing young woman who was the inspiration behind the Kristen Forbes Eve Foundation

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Our goal is to share Kristen’s story with the world, inspiring concrete action to eradicate HPV-related cancers. Through education and outreach, we aim to see young adults choosing to vaccinate themselves, mothers choosing to vaccinate their children, and healthcare providers successfully encouraging the vaccination of their patients. We have cancers that are preventable, and we will do everything we can to ensure no one suffers the same fate as our Kristen.

LET’S DO SOMETHING

GET

VACCINATED

GET VACCINATED

Vaccination is the number one thing you can do for yourself and your loved ones. The vaccine prevents HPV, a virus that causes a variety of cancers. Through vaccination, you are protecting yourself from this virus, but you are also preventing the spread of HPV to others.

GET

SCREENED

GET SCREENED

Ladies, please commit to regular screenings by your doctor to check for precancerous cells, as well as the HPV virus. By screening regularly, you can ensure that any appearance of HPV or cancer is prevented or caught as early as possible. Unfortunately, there is currently no screening available for men.

SPREAD

PREVENTION

SPREAD PREVENTION

Educate yourself about HPV and the vaccine. When you know your stuff, you can talk to others about the dangers of HPV and the fact that these cancers are completely preventable with the vaccine. Inspire others to take action by getting screened and vaccinating themselves and others.
